i took my 2 yr old son to a restaurant for dinner with my 10 yr old daughter and my dad..my son ate a ton of french fries but would not touch anything else which was fine cause we were at a restaurant and i wanted him to be a good boy so i didnt push him to eat anything else...then before bed i gave him a yogurt..have you ever let your child just eat whatever at a restaurant so there would not be a meltdown?
