Can you be microsoft certified and cisco certified at the same time?

I don't know much about computers but I do enjoy working with them and would like to start a career in I.T. but I don't know what path I should take.Is it possible to be Cisco certified and Microsoft certified? Which one should I do first? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
