Old fat dude with young hunk at a gay bar?! \: / I've seen this a couple times. What is going on?

22 here! I went out looking pretty good Saturday night to this one gay bar I had never been to before. Most of the men were old--in there 50s, maybe their late 40s. Anyway, one of the guy looked to be a little older than me about 24, 25, or so and was really handsome. He was playing darts with this 55 year old looking fat guy with a big potbelly. Ugh! Anyways, the guy looked at me and smiled at first and then sat down. He was quiet for awhile and I was just waiting for something to happen when the older fat guy sat beside him. He started rubbing the back of his neck for a long while. It kinda grossed me out. Anyways, the guy didn't really do anything back and still sat there quiet. We smiled at each other one other time but then I noticed him reach over underneath the table and rub the big fat guy's legs and stuff. I got grossed out and left a little later. Doesn't seem to make sense that a young hunk would go for a guy like that in less he's giving him something like money, place to stay, or something, otherwise it's a pretty unfair situation for the youngster
